Its famous resident dolphins, Hope and Winter, can be found in the Winter Zone. Children of all ages will surely enjoy this sanctuary because it is interactive. They can watch how trainers feed the marine animals or treat the injured ones.
If you’re driving from Orlando, take I4 to Tampa and then Veterans Expressway Highway 60 heading west to Bay Blvd and across Memorial Causeway Bridge. Turn right to Island Way and then turn left to Windward Passage. If you’re coming from Tampa, take Highway 60 heading west to Bay Blvd and across Memorial Causeway Bridge. Turn right to Island Way and then turn left to Windward Passage. If you are from Clearwater Beach, take the Causeway Blvd eastbound. Then follow highway 60, turn left on Island Way and another left to Windward Passage.
Clearwater Dolphin Watching Tour
In this tour, you will learn the behavior of the bottlenose dolphin on board a catamaran. As you cruise along the coast, your boat captain will point out interesting facts about the mansions located along the coast. This cruise departs near Clearwater Memorial Causeway. Look for a double decker catamaran. The tour departs almost every thirty minutes starting at 11:30 in the morning.
